The practicum is a supervised, hands-on experience where students apply their learned skills in a real-world community health setting. It lasts for 40 hours and is essential for completing the certification.
Program administrators will assist in assigning practicum placements that are convenient and relevant to the student's learning goals. Practicum supervisors will provide guidance and evaluation during this period.
To receive certification, students must complete all instructional hours, successfully finish the practicum, and pass the final assessment, which includes quizzes, assignments, and a final exam.
Upon successful completion of the program requirements, certificates will be issued within four weeks. Graduates will also be invited to an online graduation ceremony.
